Well, this costume was an inevitability. This was one of my first possibilities for cosplay: Nel or Etna, Etna or Nel. I went with Etna at the time for my first cosplay because Nel seemed a little too involved. I'm glad I waited, because I definitely wasn't ready for her back when I first started cosplay in 2004. Now that I have a few years of solid experience under my belt, I'm finally ready to tackle this project! Replaying the game also helped cement my need to cosplay her - I just love her character! Sarcastic, yet insightful, Nel's in charge and gets the job done as head of the spy network for the kingdom of Aquaria. A skillful and invaluable assett to Fayt's team, her powerful magic and no nonsense attitude make her a formidable teammate. I really can't wait to start on her, and I'm hoping to have Nel finished by Anime USA 2009.
