This was also one of those shows that I started watching and ended up finishing it in two days. Simply wonderful show! Long ago, humans began to mutate and gain special abilities. Persecuted by the normal humans, these mutants were designated as the "Mu" and put into camps and slaughtered. However, one special Mu rose up, Soldier Blue, who led the Mu to a special ship and together they left their old home behind and led a new life. Hundreds of year passed, and Soldier Blue was nearing the end of his life when he found a young boy, Jomy, who would be his successor. The story follows Jomy as he leads the Mu people toward the Terra, their true home, once again.

Ruri is one of the Mu children who Jomy grows up with. She eventually becomes part of the bridge staff of the Shangri-La and helps the other young Mu to realie their need for a home world on Terra. She's very beautiful and is kind and charismatic. I can't wait to make her uniform!
